Scientific understanding cannot be reduced to simple thematic questions, in fact they are always changing and even now they are changing in-depth our understanding of humanity and our vision of the world.
Scientific understanding is always converted into new technology that often heavily impacts our lives in an unpredictable way thanks to the strong interconnection and complexity of the world that we live in. As citizens we are always called to vote in debates that we are not adequately informed on, without understanding the real consequences of our decisions.
This ‘package’ will analyse the actual methodology used to study complex systems and enhance two scientific environments in rapid development looking to provide the correct tools for understanding where this technology will take us.
This Minor is aimed to students on all degree programmes at the University.
