How to register with a general practitioner

If you are an Italian student not residing but living in the area of Venice Health Authority - ULSS 12 [IT] you are entitled to be temporarily registered with a general practitioner (general medicine physician) for a period ranging from 3 months to a year, and then renew your registration.
You shall submit your ULSS health card to the offices in charge of the GP’s  Registration or Revocation of one of the four Districts [IT] included in the Venice ULSS area. Applicants living in the old town centre of Venice and in Giudecca can refer to the Former Giustinian hospital (Dorsoduro 1453, Venice - tel. +39 041 529 4920).

Non-Italian students can anyway refer to the district offices so as to gather any information on the relevant current procedures.

Click on the following links to get any information concerning the services delivered by the general practitioner [IT] and view the list of local doctors [IT].
