Academic Calendar 2012/2013
The academic calendar is divided into 2 semesters, which are organised into 2 terms each.
Courses may last one period (5 weeks + 1 for extra/reschedule lessons) or one semester (14 weeks).
Each course includes at least 4 different dates in which the related exam can be taken. However, he/she can choose only 3 dates among those which have been scheduled. In case of two exam dates in the same session, students have to take the exam on one of the two available days (see point C below).
The organisation of the exam sessions depends on the course scheduling (that is the semester or term the course will take place) and is described in the chart here below.

C) Students can take the exam only on one exam date of their own choice within the same session.
D) Only for the May-June session, graduands are obliged to take the exam on the first of the two available exam dates.
Final year students have to take the exam on the first available date within the same session.
In January 2013 the last exam date of all the courses which took place in the second semester of a.y. 2011/2012 will be scheduled.

April 25th: Liberation Day; Saint Mark’s Day – patron of Venice
May 1st: Labour Day
June 2nd: Republic Day
August 15th: Assumption
