Educational Goal:

Aim of this programme  is to provide knowledge and expertise functional to the analysis of the organization and competitiveness of destinations. It also aims to supply some tools useful to manage a destination.

  2. Destination management and destination marketing
  3. Actors, stakeholders and responsibilities
  4. Links among regional development, territorial marketing and destination management
  5. Destinations and products
  6. Strategic planning at regional and destination level
  7. Some model of competitive analysis for a destination
  8. Identity, image and communication
  9. Destination Management Systems
  10. Case studies and project works
Recommended Reading List:

The list of  textbooks and other materials will be communicated at the beginning of the programme.


Assessment:

Written text. The students will also be required  to present a  project work analysing a specific case of destination management.
