Ca' Foscari Tour

Ca' Foscari Tour is the guided tour service of Ca' Foscari palace, the main seat of Ca' Foscari University of Venice, a Venetian Gothic building placed in the largest bend of the Grand Canal. Through a fascinating itinerary of art and history, visitors may admire the external courtyards and the interiors of the palace, such as the great 'Aula Baratto' designed by the Venetian architect Carlo Scarpa and decorated with two frescos by Mario Sironi and Mario Deluigi, and the results of the last restoration works between 2004 and 2006.

Single visitors may book one day before writing an email to cafoscaritour@unive.it.Tickets are sold at the Public Relations Service (Ca' Foscari palace, ground floor) 15 minutes before the beginning of the tour. Only cash payment are accepted.

Groups have to book the guided tour at least 15 days in advance and pay with transfer bank (all the information will be sent by our office).

In case of lectures or institutional events, the itinerary could undergo changes.

Accessibility

The palace has no architectural barriers. Visitors with disabilities are suggested to visit the palace with an accompanying helper and are kindly requested to book the tour with adequate advance

Guided tours in Italian Sign Language

You can visit Ca' Foscari with an interpreting service in Italian Sign Language thanks to the students of Languages, Linguistics and Cultural Studies/Language Sciences (by reservation only).
