Aim of this module is to provide a general introduction to the technical and aesthetic language of cinema.

Contents

We will consider some of the most important aspects of film production: the screenplay, photography, framing, cutting etc., in the context of the history of cinema. The we will analyse some of the films by Stanley Kubrick.
