Educational Goals

The course is aimed at providing students of East-Asian languages with some general notions of the historical development and contemporary framework of Asian legal systems, with specific reference to the Chinese and Japanese models. The first part of the course will be mainly devoted to China while the second to Japan (prof. Colombo).
