Educational Goals

The lectures will give a view of vietnam history through the XXth Century, from french colonization to the american war.

Contents

The focus of the lectures will be on three main topics: the french colonial rule on Indochina; the vietnamese nationalism and the fight for independence; the american intervention and failure in Vietnam.
