Educational Goal
The course is set the objective to prepare the student to the social work in a social context that changes. The construction and the assessment of the individualized project will follow a joint run among the micro dimension, tied up to the relationship of professional help, to the meso dimension, tied up to the social politics, and to the dimension connected macro to the community social work. Meanings, actors, methodologies and tools will be introduced in an international perspective.

The course articulates in 3 forms thesis to delineate the construction of the project of intervention in the social work, the social assessment and the tools of dialogical evaluation; the search and construction of tools for the interventions with children and teenagers and the families in difficulty, according to an international perspective; the new directions for the social work.
1.The work for projects in the system of the Welfare.
2.The processes of co-construction and co-planning in an integrated system.
3.To build and to appraise projects individualized according to an international perspective.
4.The area common of professionalism.
5.Knowledges and understanding of the society in the field of social work research.
6.Methodologies and tools to reach objective appraisable. The definition of the outcomeses in the intervention of the professional social work.
7.The social assessment with the person and his family.
8.The participated assessment and the dialogical assessment.
9.The evaluation of the risk and management in the interventions for the childrens. The Italian experience.
10.The contribution of the international research in the construction of tools of assessment for the social workers. The Anglo-Saxon experience of the LAC and that Swedish of the BBIC and of the DUR.
11.The children and teenagers wellness as collective responsibility.
12.The social work and the community. The network's approach.
13.The processes of inclusion and social exclusion. New profiles of risk and vulnerability.
14.The activation of the community relationships and the processes of share between interdependence and solidarity. The experience of the projects of proximity among families in Italy, France and Australia.
15.Identity and alternatives fields for the social work.

Teaching Methods
To support of the lessons you will be proposed some exercises on the case, use of different models of construction of the individualized project, the experimentation of some tools of social assessment, the comparative analysis of results achieved by searches and experimentations of innovative methodologies of social work.
