Historical Library, Historical Archive and Thesis Archive

Ca' Foscari Historical Library was established in 1868 with the foundation of the University. The Historical Library includes about 80,000 books and periodicals from the sixteenth to the mid-twentieth century. It also includes 21 collections given by university professors and Rectors.
Ca' Foscari Historical Archive includes historical records and photographs from 1868 until 1970s.
Ca' Foscari Thesis Archive includes degree theses from 1914 and doctoral theses from 1994 to present times.

• Doctoral theses: 1994-2009 theses are available at the Thesis Archive (no appointment is necessary); theses from 2010 are available also online (Doctoral Thesis Open Access Archive);
