Educational objectives

The main purpose of this research doctorate is to provide students with an academic and professional education, in line with European guidelines, in the historic-artistic field of research through the valorisation of the various artistic, urban-rural and environmental heritages.

Research topics

The main research subjects are as follows:

Analysis and study of architectonic works and their urban context, particularly with regard to economic, building and configurative events, together with the employment they are intended to.

The system of arts, collecting, exhibitions and museology from the early Middle Ages to the modern and contemporary era. 

The cultural-historic and environmental heritage and its documentary, iconographic and multimedia aspects. The analysis of materials and works.

Cinema, media, music, and the performance world.

Multimedia applications to enhance the artistic heritage of a well-defined territory.

The contemporary mechanism of artistic performance works, the transformations of practice, the exhibition of artifacts and their fruition.
