  • African Journals Directory, part of African e-Journals Project (a collaborative effort of Michigan State University with the Association of African Universities and the African Studies Association), contains information about more than 1900 journals published in or about Africa in all disciplines, and informs about where to find tables of contents and abstracts, full text of articles online, and journal webpages, where they are available.

  • AFRINUL The African Newspaper Union List is an electronic database of holdings information for newspapers (all formats and all languages) published in sub-Saharan Africa. AFRINUL is maintained by the Center for Research Libraries, a consortium of North American universities, colleges and independent research libraries.

  • AJOL: Africa Journals OnLine is the world's largest online collection of African-published, peer-reviewed scholarly journals (more than 320 from 25 African countries). It provides Tables of contents and abstracts (where available) of articles from journals covering a variety of disciplines including health, education, agriculture, science and technology, the environment, and arts and culture. AJOL also provides document delivery service for researchers to access full text of individual articles.

  • ASC Publications. It is possible to search all the publications by Africa Studies Center or members of its staff.

  • Project MUSE. Online access to over 300 high quality humanities, arts, and social sciences journals, of which several with focus on Africa
