Educational objectives

The doctoral programme aims to train experts who can successfully work in computer science research, in the academic world as well as in the industrial and business field. In particular, the purpose of such a programme is to educate students to use the proper instruments for actively setting up and developing research and to be familiar with the methodologies used for planning and assessing information systems and applications.
Special attention will be paid to the latest trends in the information technology field in order to successfully transfer such knowledge to the business field and develop innovative applications (concerning, for instance, the internet, multimedia, new forms of interaction and communication with or by means of a processor, e-commerce, virtual reality, system simulations, etc.).
