The Disabled Students Service

Pursuant to Law no 17/1999 (completing and amending the Framework Law no 104/1992) stating that a Rector’s Delegate for disability issues as well as services supporting the study and university life of disabled students are compulsory, the Disabled Students Service has been set up within the DSSOF - Guidance, Counselling and Placement Section.
Such Service has been organized taking into consideration the several hurdles brought about by the different types of disability. A number of actions are carried out so as to enable any disabled student to maintain full control over any aspect of his/her own university life.

According to Law no. 17 dated 28th January 1998, Ca’ Foscari University has also appointed a Rector’s Delegate for co-ordinating, monitoring and supporting any integration initiatives for disabled students within the university itself. The Rector's Delegate for disability issues is Prof. Anna Cardinaletti.
