Guidance activities on campus

Guidance meetings

The Guidance Service, during opening hours, offers individual meetings with the office staff, provides information on all of the educational programmes of Ca' Foscari (First Cycle Degree Programmes, Second Cycle Degree Programmes, other educational opportunities for graduates) and helps to design personalised paths for learning self-guidance methods.

Welcome meetings for first-year students

Every year in September, before the lectures begin, the Guidance Service organises a cycle of welcome meetings for students enrolled in the first year of Degree Programmes.

During these meetings, the faculty staff illustrate the structure of the Degree Programmes, the main deadlines and how the teaching activities are carried out, providing useful information on the completion of the plan of study, free elective exams and any other relevant issues.

Informative material will be distributed and indications on when and where lectures are held will be provided.

Guidance meetings for Secondary Schools students

Every year the University organises the so-called “Open Days”, where the educational programmes of Ca' Foscari are introduced to Secondary School students (Classes 4th and 5th).

These meetings include a presentation of the Degree Programmes by the university faculty, an introduction to the services for first-year students and a few testimonials from students and graduates.
