Obiettivi Formativi
The aim of the seminar is to provide the students with a good understanding of advanced topics in historical linguistics by taking into consideration both the current theoretical debate (e.g. diachronic approaches to the study of languages; selected topics in the syntax of Early English; text linguistics and pragmatics) and its applications in the field of Germanic Philology (e.g. ancient and new editorial practices; translation studies; computational philology applied to Medieval Germanic texts).
