Prospective students can now enroll in the 46 Degree programmes of Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, choosing between 17 Bachelor’s - of which 9 limited admission programmes - 29 Master’s programmes - of which 5 limited admission programmes - and 27 joint degrees with prestigious international universities.

The academic offer of Ca’ Foscari for the academic year 2017-18 introduces many new additions to the study plan: classroom courses are supported by workshop held with firms and thematic courses to expand students’ education in several fields adding value to the degree programme.

New programmes entirely taught in English are now available: the Bachelor’s programme in Digital Management and the Master’s Programme in Conservation Science and Technology for Cultural Heritage.

Starting in 2017-18 Dal 2017-18 the Student Act will be introduced, as required by law, with interventions and financial support for students. Tuition fees will not increase next year.

TWO NEW MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAMMES TAUGHT IN ENGLISH

The new open admission Master’s Degree programme in Conservation science and technology for cultural heritage, entirely taught in English, will train restorers, professionals with scientific skills to design and test new restoration technologies. The programme includes classroom courses and workshops.

The new limited admission Master’s Degree programme in Digital Management offered in collaboration with H-Farm is a unique experience in Italy combining business and economic studies with digital soft skills, entirely in English. The programme includes innovative courses with regards to both the content and the teaching modality, with classroom courses, seminars, workshops held with firms and international professionals in H-Farm campus, in Roncade.

SEVEN BACHELOR’S DEGREES TAUGHT IN ENGLISH

Ca’ Foscari offers seven Bachelor’s programmes taught entirely in English: Digital Management, Conservation Science and Technology for Cultural Heritage, Crossing the Mediterranean: towards Investment and Integration (MIM), Computer Science, Philosophy, international studies and economic studies, Global Development and Entrepreneurship, Science and Technology of bio and nanomaterials.

Many additional programmes offer courses in English.

JOINT DEGREES: DOUBLE DEGREES WITH UCL, UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON

Ca’ Foscari University of Venice offers 27 joint degrees with international universities for academic year 2017-18, including a new double degree with UCL - University College London for a Bachelor’s programme in Humanities.

The agreement includes four year (two at Ca’ Foscari and two at UCL) and will upon completion offer a BA in Italian Studies at UCL and a “Laurea in Lettere” at Ca’ Foscari. The ten admitted students will be selected from around the world and will have to prove Italian and English knowledge as well as an outstanding academic profile.

MINOR: MULTIDISCIPLINARY PATHS

Complementary thematic courses, minors, will be offered: Bachelor’s programmes students will be able to explore with multidisciplinary courses parallel to their main area of study. Students enroled in economics and management will be able to study coding while students enroled in humanities will access economics and business courses for instance.

Ca’ Foscari students will thus strengthen their training and enrich their curriculum with additional skills.

ACTIVE LEARNING CENTER

The Active Learning Center provides Master’s Degree students with complementary activities that offer 6 university credits (CFU) and a special mention in your Diploma Supplement.
