The Ca’ Foscari - Harvard Summer School is a great opportunity not only for students but also for professors who can teach courses in English and live an international academic experience in Venice with professors from one of the most prestigious American universities.

Professor Fabrizio Marrella, international law professor, describes his experience: “Teaching at the Harvard Summer School International Business Law entails developing an academic content that goes beyond the students’ experience since diversity is the key feature: diversity of their origins, training, and reaction to the international business law related issues discussed in class. For a professor this implies adopting a multicultural yet critical approach which provides the students with the proper intellectual tools to grasp the topic and discuss with fellow students without leaving variables or dimensions involved in international law”.

Duccio Basosi, international relations professor at Ca’ Foscari, insisted on “the benefit of putting together different education approaches, the American one based on interactive learning and the Italian one based on readings. The two models counterbalance each other and their combination is a stimulating “mix”, especially in seminars”.

Ca’ Foscari professor who would be interested in offering a course in the 2018 Ca’ Foscari Harvard Summer School can find all the relevant information and forms on the school’s website (ITALIAN).
