The Ca' Foscari International College for the 2024/2025 a.y. offers 12 places to students enrolling in the first undergraduate year (first-cycle level).
There will be one call for application in May 2024 for Italian and International students.
International students are those who will hold the high school diploma from a foreign institution or an International Baccalaureate-IB title by the end of the 2023/2024 scholastic year.

Admission criteria

Applicants must have a GPA (Grade Point Average) equal or superior to 7.5/10 (or the equivalent for international students) in their third-to-last and second-to-last years of high school.

Applicants must submit a letter of motivation in English (between 250 and 500 words) that outlines: their aims (what I want to achieve); their expectations (what additional experiences can the College offer me); their attitude (why I think I am a good candidate) and a personal experience that demonstrates attitude to live in the College.

Students must have good knowledge of English (B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference); international students must also know Italian at the B2 level unless they are enrolling in a degree taught entirely in English.

Detailed information on the online written test, including the dedicated procedure to enter the Moodle platform, will be communicated to the candidates via e-mail by May 6th.

Assessment for admission

The assessment consists of an online written exam on global culture and a remote interview aimed at verifying the students’ motivation, their logical and language skills and text comprehension and their general educational level. Their CV will also be evaluated, including their high school exam scores.

Scholarships and fee reductions

For the 2024/2025 a.y. the College ordinary tuition fee amounts to EUR 9,000 and covers:

  • enrolment in the University's regular courses
  • the supplementary College educational programme
  • lessons and tutoring at the College
  • accommodation for 10 months in Camplus residency in Santa Marta, Venice.

The College covers most costs offering partial scholarships in the form of “voucher”, redeemable only against ordinary College fee. As a result, each undergraduate student admitted to the College pays an even contribution of EUR 1000.

At the end of every academic year, College students who meet the merit requirements will have their place confirmed and will continue to pay their annual contribution of 1000 euros as a co-participation in the costs of the educational project.

Additionally, all students must pay the regional tax and stamp duty. Meals, travels, books and any further expense are not covered by the College fee.
Candidates who also sit for entry tests to limited-admission Degree Courses are required to deposit any pre-enrolment fees indicated by the Call for Admissions to their chosen Degree Course. The deposited sum will be reimbursed should the candidate enter the College.

The College reserves the right to use the Admissions ranking to assign places at the College and vouchers that may successively become available.

The Ca' Foscari International College for the 2023/2024 a.y. offers 9 places to graduates enrolling in the first year of a Master degree (second-cycle level).
There will be one call for application in July 2023 for Italian and international students.

Assessment for admission

As per the Call for application, art. 6 point 3, the admission selection is based on a pre-evaluation of the candidates’ application and on an interview aimed at verifying the students’ motivation, their  language skills and their general educational level.
The interview will be held remotely.
Their CV will also be evaluated, as well as any other optional certifications submitted with the application.

Admission criteria

Eligible candidates are:

  • Italian or international graduates who have acquired their Bachelor diploma in an Italian or international University;
  • Italian or international students who in 2022/23 are in their third year of a Ca’ Foscari University Bachelor degree, and who will get their Diploma by fall session 2023;
  • Italian or international students who in 2022/23 are in their third year of a Bachelor degree at a different Italian university, and who will get their Bachelor diploma by 30/09/2023.

All candidates cannot be older than twenty-five at the date of application.
