Digital Synergies: Ca’ Foscari meets EPFL

Global Challenges Seminar - Team “Creative arts, cultural heritage and digital humanities”
18 December 2017, 2.30 pm, Aula Rio Novo, Venice

Digital Humanities is an inherently interdisciplinary science, building on traditional humanities research methodologies applied to cultural sciences and on developing computer-assisted procedures to create digital resources. The need to combine humanistic competences with computer sciences and technological ones however requires synergies in order to create innovative approaches to cultural heritage.

The ‘Digital Synergies’ seminar organized by the Team Creative Arts, Cultural Heritage and Digital Humanities aims at stimulating these synergies by sharing ideas and knowledge on cutting-edge projects with other research institutions. The present seminar is dedicated to a number of projects developed in the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL).
