Mentoring Programme - Coltiviamoci

The 6th edition of the Coltiviamoci programme is here! Apply from 5 to 25 March 2024 to become a mentee.
For further information, check out the ‘How to participate?’ section.

What is it?

Since 2019, Coltiviamoci is the University mentoring programme promoted by the Career Service in collaboration with the CF Alumni Association. Mentoring is a training methodology in which someone with more experience in a given professional sector – the mentor – and one with less experience – the mentee – form a collaborative relationship aimed at allowing the latter to acquire knowledge and develop specific professional skills.

Through one-on-one interaction and discussion with their mentor, the mentee has the chance to reflect on their skills and gain valuable information and useful strategies for their personal and professional growth.
As the name “Coltiviamoci” (‘Let’s cultivate ourselves’) suggests, it is a relationship to be cultivated, in order for it to grow and bear fruit.

The programme is carried out over the course of 6 meetings, defined independently between mentors and mentees, in person and/or remotely, preceded by targeted training sessions, two for mentors and one for mentees.

What services does it offer?

Coltiviamoci offers a vocational and tutoring service by matching students with professionals on the basis of their work experience, the professional area in which they work, the affinity of their profile with the disciplinary areas of origin and the interests of the participants involved.

The selected students will meet and work alongside professionals from the Ca' Foscari Career Service network and the CF Alumni association, experiencing first-hand the rhythms, responsibilities, organisation and work-life balance of professionals as part of a path of growth with goals aligned with their own professional aspirations.
