[Deadline] 4 scholarships - PhD Programme of National Interest in Religious Studies

4 scholarships for Ca' Foscari as part of the PhD Programme of National Interest in Religious Studies XXXVIII Cycle - A.A. 2022/2023

Thanks to the resources allocated by the Board of Directors from May 13th 2022, Ca' Foscari finances 10 Dottorati di Interesse Nazionale (PhD Programmes of National Interest), which the University has joined as a Partner, for a total of 20 NRRP scholarships.

Among these PhDs is the PhD Programme of National Interest in Religious Studies (supervisor: Prof. Francesca Tarocco), which has UNIMORE - University of Modena and Reggio Emilia as its administrative headquarters.

The Call offers a total of 43 scholarships, of which Ca 'Foscari University will manage 4 (in the Area 'Buddhism and Religions of Asia') detailed as follows:

  • Buddhism and Technological Innovation: Historical and Modern Case Studies
  • Buddhism and the Environment: Historical and Modern Case Studies
  • Buddhist Contemplative Practices
  • Theravāda, Mahāyāna and Vajrayāna: Texts, Rituals and Practitioners.
