'Preparing the XML-TEI text for Euporia' Abstract: participants learn how to encode the texts in XML-TEI they are working on for their PhD purposes, in order to upload them to the Euporia web platform. Two modalities are addressed. The first one consists of adding TEI markup to plain-text to define the minimal structure and formatting of the document. The second one involves the transformation of texts already encoded with complex TEI markings into simplified documents strictly aligned to the originals, in order to remap on these the annotations created with Euporia.

The event is part of a series of six meetings organized by Federico Boschetti and Luigi Bambaci, April 15 – May 20, 2021. The workshops, preceded by a short theoretical part, take place entirely online via ZOOM with activities on exist-db and moodle. Some students and scholars will have the opportunity to illustrate their annotation experience. During the agreed time of reception it is possible to discuss with the teachers in presence. The workshops, free of charge, are intended for PhD or undergraduate students highly motivated to use Euporia. The number is limited. For further information: vedph@unive.it
