Keijō Imperial University: Discussing Colonial Knowledge and Academism in Modern Korea

This roundtable will discuss the current studies on Keijō Imperial University and develop/deepen the studies by sharing the ideas and opinions of active researchers. Keijō Imperial University was the sixth imperial university among the nine imperial universities in Imperial Japan and the first modern university in Korea established in 1926. It has been examined in various fields and perspectives and researchers have discovered factors hitherto unknown. This roundtable will be a great opportunity and a fascinating discussion for further understanding of colonial knowledge and academism.
