At the end of the course the student has deep competences of grammar and written Japanese (kanji) through frontal lectures and exercises with native speakers. He/she is able to have a dialogue and compose/read more advanced texts in authentic communication contexts. The acquired competences are around level 3 of Japanese Language Proficiency Test organized by the Japan Foundation, and at the level B1 Threshold or intermediate, of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Low Intermediate Japanese (Level N4 JLPT).
Grammar/Translation (30 hrs, Moro; Drills reading comprehension, conversation (Ueda, Sugiyama) (120 hrs).

Translation course's text will be uploaded in prof. Moro's "Materiali ISA" or provided directly in class. The explanation of every part of the exam program will be provided in every teacher's "Materiali I.S.A"' s page.

At the end of the second semester an exam composed by 1) grammar and kanji test, 2) textual comprehension, 3) japanese-italian translation test, 4) a composite oral interview.
Interactive classes with both Italian and native speaker teachers.
An active participation is required in order to develop a linguistic self-consciousness through all the exercises presented in class by the teacher. Attendance is not compulsory but strongly recommended.
