The course aims at a critical knowledge of the linguistic policies in the Spanish speaking world, as well as of the social and geographical varieties of the modern Spanish language, in a particular way, about the notion of International Spanish.
Level B2/ C1 of the European Framework (CEF)
The course deals with the varieties of modern Spanish; the international status of Spanish; the concepts of standard and general language; the language policies of the Spanish speaking world; the concepts of norm and "panhismpanismo"; and the different dialectal features of Spanish in Spain, America as well as in contact with other languages.

The course consists of linguistic lessons and a communication practical part (Spanish Language with CEL).
An advanced language level (CEFR, C2) is required to access the exam.
The verification includes a written and an oral part. The written part includes a grammar test and a composition.
The student in possession of a DELE (C2) certification can access directly to exam. No other linguistic certifications are valid.
Exam will be written.
