The target of this project is to shed light upon the relationship between a phenomenon and the context that makes it possible. This is one of the activities open to all the students of the curricula of the Corso di Laurea in "Lingue, Culture e Società dell'Asia e dell'Africa Mediterranea".
Awareness of a crucial theme for our society's historical and current development; capacity to make of this awareness a tool in the understanding of their own subjects of study.
Any student from any curricula may apply.
A phenomenon is made sustainable by the peculiar characters of the context where it takes place. Students wishing to acquire this credit will have to contact the lecturer and define the topic of their research. Topics related to the students' curricula are welcome and particularly appreciated will be the use of sources written in the languages studied by the students themselves.
Provided the diversity of languages studied in our Department, as well as their cultural and economic contexts, it is not possible to suggest a one and only bibliography. Texts will be discussed according to the selected topic of the paper.
A five-page paper concerning the topic discussed with the lecturer.
Discussions by mail and during office hours.
