Understanding the basics of labor law and to analyse its evolution over time.
Knowing the sources of European labor law and the main EC directives relating to employment law.
Understanding the relationship among labour law, social rights and international trade.
Catch the peculiarities of the European labor market, learning the limits and the freedoms recognized in Europe for European citizens, for employees and for the self-employed persons, as well as for representatives of workers and employers, even in a comparative perspective with different Member States.

The evolution of the European social policy; Globalization and social rights; The Social dumping; The balance between economic freedoms and social rights; The ECJ Cases Law; The relationship between EU and ILO; Autonomy-subordination: the ILO and the EU perspective; The freedom of movement for workers; The anti-discriminatory discipline; The atypical work; Transfers of undertaking; Information, consultation and workers participation; Freedom of association and collective bargaining; CSR.
