The teaching of Spanish literature consists of a semester module and aims to give students a broad understanding of the historical and cultural context and literary production in Spain of the twentieth century with a focus on the literary and linguistic diversity of Spain.
It also aims to provide some critical and methodological base to students, for the acquisition, understanding and analysis of texts that promote their independence of judgment.
The lessons, readings, text analysis and examinations will take place mainly in Italian and Spanish, in order to consolidate comprehension skills and communication in an appropriate language.
The course presents a profile of the literature and history of Spanish culture from Modernism to the present day. It includes readings of a literary anthology and a a novel by Najat el Hachmi.
The study of the salient features of the great aesthetic-literary currents and poetic and narrative forms in their evolution will complement some insights of authors and works of particular importance.

During the written exam it is not allowed the use of books, notes, electronic media.
Active participation in lessons and two cultural activities indicated by the teacher will award a bonus of up to 3 points on the final grade.
The file "Calendario" in "materiali isa" (available after the first class meeting) provides the daily activities/readings of this course.
