The module is intended for all first and second year students of the three-year study course Languages, civilizations and language sciences and is one of the main subjects of the cours




To know and understand the main historical-cultural, political and literary events of the Slavic world through the acquisition of knowledge of Serbian and Croatian literature and culture (19th c.)
1. Ability to apply knowledge and understanding:
Know how to properly use philological and historical-cultural terminology in the main areas of teaching.
2. Autonomy of judgment:
Being able to focus on the critical debate on studied topics, so that the student can then formulate hypotheses on various issues in the discipline.
3. Communicative Skills:
Be able to communicate the content of the course in a clear and technically adequate way, using the tone relevant to the communicative situation, to re-propose the content of the course, to orient yourself properly in reading the reference texts.

The exam will be done through an oral test. During the test, the student must demonstrate knowledge of the subjects discussed during the course exhibit them formally. To pass the exam is required a final work that critically resumes one or more topics discussed in the course. The essay must be delivered two weeks before the exam. The subject of the thesis must be agreed during the course, at least two months before the examination (six weeks before delivery). The paper for the attendants must have about 20 thousand characters, for the non-attendants about 40 thousand.
