The course aims to improve the knowledge of the Spanish language, both oral and written, and make an introduction to the economic lexicon and linguistic structures that are usually employed in commercial relations throughout the Hispanic world, specifically when dealing with foreign trade,
Good knowledge of trade and economic lexicon
Good knowledge of usual grammatical structures
To be able to recognise the peculiarities of texts related to trade and economic fields
To follow this course, it is convenient to have attended the excercises organised in September, before the beginning of the official course.
1. During the course, linguistic structures found within the textbook will be analysed in depth

3. Conversation, translation, composition of commercial texts and use of lexicon and structures that usually emerge in the environment of foreign trade

In order to evaluate the training path, students are supposed to pass a written test that will have e semi-structured form.
Specifically, it will have the following structure:
- Multiple choice aswers on grammar and economic language items;
- True/false answers on grammar and economic language items;
- Translation of brief texts (Spanish-Italian/Italian-Spanish) in order to verify the knowledge of grammar and specialised discourse;
- Fill in the gap exercises in the field of commercial letters.

The written test will have a duration of 60 minutes and the students are not allowed to use any dictionaries or other material.
The test will be passed with the following mark: 18/30.
Lessons will be developed in the form of seminars allowing students to directly interact in oder to develop a conscious reflection on the issues analysed.

This subject deals with topics related to the macro-area "Climate change and energy" and contributes to the achievement of one or more goals of U. N. Agenda for Sustainable Development
