Course objectives
The module will be held in collaboration with native speaking language assistants. Its aims are:
- the development of written and speaking abilities at C2 level in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (and as in the ZOP exam of the Goethe Institut);
- the translation of complex literary and non-literary texts from German into Italian.
In the lecturer's module, special attention will be given to translational strategies within a contextual analysis of the texts that will be provided by the lecturer, translated by students, corrected by the lecturer and commented upon and analysed in class.
Pre-requirements
Knowledge of the German language as requested by the school in Foreign languages and literatures (LLEAP).
Level required C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
Contents
Development of written and speaking abilities at C2 level in the CEFRL. Translation of complex texts from German into Italian, with continuous assessment based on feedback between lecturer and students, both at home and in class.
