This first course of Mathematics gives the basic knowledge which is necessary to enter the subjects of Economics and Computer Sciences.
To be familiar with the scientific rigour and the language of calculus. To be able to use the methods and the techniques taught during the lectures.

- Set theory and basic logic
- Induction
- Elements of combinatorics
- Limits and continuity of real functions
- Derivatives
- Methods of approximation
- Integrals
Most of the material will be provided by the teacher. The mathematics of this course is covered by hundreds (if not thousands) of books.
