The purpose of the module is to allow the student to acquire basic techniques and tools for the conception and creation of videostorytelling to illustrate creatively the company.
No prerequisites are necessary, although familiarity with the most common image processing software is useful.
The course analyses the video shooting and editing elements. The aim is to give the students the necessary tools to understand the techniques and the basic rules of video/photographic shooting and the main theories of editing. It will also present a panorama of the main methods for setting up the video tool applied to company practices.
The basic skills acquired will allow the students to develop the production of a film starting from the idea, the concept, to reach the feasibility stage, the storyboard and the actual creation.
The possibility of following all steps, from conception to the creation of the finished product, will give them the tools to concretely enter the world of audio-visual production, setting out on a path of comprehension of the processes that are at the basis of company communication through moving images.
Main subjects of the shooting and editing lessons:
Acquisition of the specific elements of film language, such as frame, scene, sequence, difference between field and shot.
