General introduction to HE/ The Problem of Ideology in the History of Knowledge (Gramsci and Althusser)

• To address a crucial topic of historical epistemology, namely the relation between science, education and ideology on the basis of the concepts of cultural hegemony (Gramsci) and ideological apparatus (Althusser).
• To become acquainted with key thinkers and sources of historical and political epistemology of the last century.
• To become capable of analyzing and discussing philosophical sources and critically interpret them.
