I obtained my PhD in Modern History at the PhD course "Cultures of Europe, environments, spaces, histories, arts, ideas" at the University of Trento, with a research entitled: "Monarquía Hispánica, government of the territory and evangelisation in the diocese of Lima 1580-1606". My research topics concern the circulation of information in the Spanish Monarchy for the government of the territory, in particular the power dynamics between the spiritual and secular spheres in the Viceroyalty of Peru.

I have been awarded several scholarships and research grants:

a.a. 2021-2022 Research fellowship at the Department 'Cultures, Politics and Society', University of Turin
1 November 2020-31 August 2021 Post-doctoral fellow at the Istituto Italiano Studi Storici (Naples).
1 July - 31 October 2020 Research fellow (post-doctoral fellowship) Istituto Storico Germanico (DHI), Rome
