- Director of the series Verum factum: Studies and Sources on Political Epistemology (to be launched in 2020 as a joint project with Edition Open Access, Berlin).
- Member of the editorial board of Studia Copernicana, published by the Polish Academy of Sciences (since 2014).
- Member of the editorial board and review editor of Galilaeana: Studies in Renaissance and Early Modern Science (since 2014).

Descrizione dell'attività di ricerca svolta nel triennio e gli obiettivi futuri

La mia ricerca attuale verte su due assi, uno epistemologico e uno storico-scientifico. La maggior parte delle mie ricerche del triennio si sono inserite nella cornice ERC EarlyModernCosmology di cui ho curato un dettagliato report narrativo, scaricabile al link: https://www.unive.it/pag/fileadmin/user_upload/progetti_ricerca/early_modern_cosmology/documenti/ERC-EMC_Report_Nov17-May20_.pdf

Tra l'altro ho portato a compimento ricerche
* in storia dei contesti sociali della scienza moderna, in particolare la meccanica del Cinque-Seicento (focus su Benedetti e la corte di Torino nel Rinascimento);
* in storia dell'epistemologa storica quale ambito interdisciplinare di filosofia e storia della scienza, approdato ad un volume su "Political Epistemology",
* in filosofia naturale nella prima età moderna (curatele su Telesio e l'aristotelismo universitario del Cinque-Seicento e il concetto di contingenza nella scienza moderna).

Ho aperto nuovi promettenti filoni di ricerca sulla filosofia ambientale ed il rapporto geo-antropologico in prospettiva storica e geologica. L'esplorazione di fonti archivistiche e manoscritti veneziani sulla storia delle politiche del territorio si è rivelata estremamente proficua, sia in termini di pubblicazioni sia di collaborazioni e progetti.

Al presente sto portando a termine, tra le altre tematiche, delle ricerche su:
* Epistemologia storica (temi e prospettive);
* Cartesianismo tedesco del Seicento;
* Fisica celeste pre-newtoniana;
* Storia dell'idrogeologica veneziana nella prima età moderna.
