I am currently a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Political Science at the Ca' Foscari University in Venice, and I collaborate as Adjunct Professor with the Department of Political Science at LUISS University in Rome and the Department of Political Sciences at the University of Genua. My teaching experience is in the field of public administration and policy analysis in Italy and from a comparative perspective. My research and publications focus on comparative public policy and administration with an emphasis on the sub-national/local level. Within this topic, I wrote several articles that have been published in the best Italian journals specialized in my research field, as well as in reputable international peer-reviewed journals (ISI/Scopus), such as: Public Management Review; Public Money & Management; Policy Studies; Health Policy; Quality & QuantityRegional and Federal Studies; International Journal of Public Sector Management; Journal of Public Deliberation; Modern Italy; Regional Studies, Regional Science; DISP-The Planning Review, and others. I also published two books on territorial rescaling and inter-municipal cooperation for the two most important Italian publishers (Il Mulino, Carocci Editore). My international monograph - on how Multi Level Governance affects on EU Cohesion policy implementation - had been published by Palgrave MacMillan in the International Series of Public Policy (the official series of International Public Policy Association, which organizes the International Conference on Public Policy). Former member of the Board of the Regional Studies Association (RSA), I am currently member of the Board of the Italian Political Science Association (SISP) and co-coordinator of its Standing Group “Regional Studies and Local Policies”.
