Nazim Hussain is a PhD Student in Management at Ca’ Focari University of Venice. His research areas are Corporate Governance and Non-Financial Performance Information Disclosure analysis in relation to the financial performance of the firms. He holds an MBA and another Master of Science in Management degree. He is Gold Medallist in his last Master degree. Before start of his PhD he has served in Commonwealth of Learning MBA/MPA program offered by a consortium of nine open universities of South Asia and Africa.
Nazim’s research areas are Corporate Governance, Sustainability Reporting, and Behavioural Finance. His particular focus is on Corporate Sustainability Reporting and its relationship with firms’ financial and non-financial performance.
He is very keen to participate in research seminars and conferences. He has recently presented his papers in International Conference on Interdisciplinary of Business, E-Commerce and Information Management (ICIBEIM, 2014) Held in Dubai on 11-12 May, 2014 and South Asian International Conference (SAICON) Held in Muree, Pakistan on 4-6 December, 2013.
He has attended following training on use of different research methods and data analysis tools:
1. Three days tutor training workshop on “Use of Case study as Pedagogical Tool in Open Distance Learning” arranged by Commonwealth of Learning Canada at Wawasan Open University Penang, Malaysia.
2. Four weeks interactive training workshop on Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) in Iqra University, Islamabad, Pakistan.
3. Three Days training workshop on Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), AMOS (Structural equation Model), and E-views at Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad.
4. Participated in five days training on MS Office ver. 2010 application at Department of Computer Sciences, Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad, Pakistan.
