QS Europe: Ca' Foscari scores top results for outbound student mobility

Ca' Foscari University of Venice ranks fourth in Europe and first among Italian universities for outbound exchange students in the new 2024 QS Europe University Rankings. The new data, which is linked to the QS World University Rankings, one of the most influential surveys of its kind, compares institutions from member states of the Council of Europe.

Morocco earthquake: Ca' Foscari's message to the affected population

The Ca' Foscari community expresses sympathy to the people of Morocco in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake of 8 September. Ca' Foscari signs new agreement with the European Public Law Organization

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 5 September and it will foster cooperation between the two institutions through educational and academic exchanges.

Summer closure 2023 - University venues and libraries

Ca' Foscari University's facilities in Venice, Mestre, and Treviso will close from Saturday 12 August to Sunday 20 August 20, 2023, and reopen on Monday 21 August.Libraries: in August there are changes in the opening hours and additional closure dates.

EUTOPIA selects 10 new Connected Communities

One of the Connected Communities that were approved stems from the proposal put forward by Ca' Foscari. It focuses on the Environmental Humanities and is led by Prof. Shaul Bassi of the Department of Linguistics and Comparative Cultural Studies.

Elections: new names and confirmations in the departmental leadership

The election round that led to the appointment of Ca' Foscari's department directors, who will remain in office from 1 October 2023 to 30 September 2026, has just ended. 

QS World University Ranking, Ca' Foscari climbs hundreds of positions

Ca' Foscari gains hundreds of positions in the prestigious international ranking. It is now in the 661-670 range and ranks 21st in Italy. The University also stands out for some specific indicators, ranking 235th in the world  (eighth in Italy) with reference to sustainability, and in the top 500 for the number of International faculty and academic reputation. 

International College 9 places for Master's degree students and a new Major

Open call at Ca’ Foscari International College for the academic year 2023/2024: 9 places are available for students from Italy and abroad intending to enrol in the first year of the master's degree at Ca' Foscari. Check out the new Major course on Social Sciences.
