Back to class in September: opportunities for a.y. 2022/2023

One of the main novelties for academic year 2022/2023 will be the return to in-classroom learning and teaching, without recurring to dual teaching (except for some resources for specific categories). Ca' Foscari final balance is +2,9 million euro

Ca’ Foscari University of Venice’s final balance for the year 2021, as approved by the Governance and Policy makers, stands at 2,9 million euro. This result attests to the financial solidity of the Venetian university and favours its investment potential for the realisation of its strategic goals.

Venice, Brussels and Cergy, first stops in the Cities of EUTOPIA podcast

Ten cities, ten universities, and an endless number of research topics. EUTOPIA is a place that we want to put on the map with a podcast as a guide: Cities of EUTOPIA. In 10 episodes of the podcast, published on Radio Ca’ Foscari in English, researchers from each university describe their city through the lens of research.

International College: applications for graduate students are open

The call for admissions for Ca' Foscari’s International College is online. There are 8 places available for students of any nationality who wish to apply for the first year of a master’s degree in 2022/2023. The deadline for applying is 7 July.

Ca' Foscari's initiatives for Ukraine

Following the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, Ca’ Foscari has become involved in initiatives to support the Ukrainian population. In addition to allocating 50,000 euro to welcoming students, researchers and professors, the university is offering free Italian language courses, laboratories for children and teenagers, and cultural activities.

Sea Level Rise: Ca' Foscari supports restoration of Andreco artwork

The lines and numbers identifying the sea levels that could be reached in the next few decades are once again visible on the wall of the train station which faces the Grand Canal and Piazzale Roma in Venice. They were painted by Andreco five years ago and are the first mural on the Grand Canal. Next to it there is a six-metre-high installation on the resilience of the lagoon’s fragile ecosystem.

Ca’ Foscari’s water bottle available for sale from 21 April

From 21 April, the iconic Ca’ Foscari water bottle will be available for purchase on Ca’ Foscari’s online shop and in the shop. It will continue to be free for the members of the Ca’ Foscari community who have not received it yet.

International College: applications for undergraduate students are open

QS 2022: Ca' Foscari ranked in 13 subjects

13 subjects make the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2022. Ca’ Foscari rises to 36th worldwide in Classics and Ancient History and confirms its position for Modern Languages (61st worldwide).
