Boom in research projects funding: EUR 33 million in 2023

The year 2023 was the best ever for Ca' Foscari University of Venice in the field of research projects. In that year our university received an overall 33 million euros via European, national and regional funding - an unprecedented amount.

Ca Foscari's active solidarity with the people of Israel and Palestine

The University joins the call from many quarters for an immediate ceasefire, accompanied by the resumption of dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians. 

Closures from 23/12 to 7/01. CFZ, BAUM and offices (online) open from 3/01

During the upcoming festivities Ca' Foscari University’s buildings will be closed from Saturday 23 December 2023 to Sunday 7 January 2024. Offices will reopen on 3 January (online only). CFZ and BEC libraries will open back on 3 January.

Ca' Foscari and ESU inaugurate student residence at the Mestre Campus

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held for the opening of the new student residence at the Scientific Campus of Ca' Foscari University of Venice, in Mestre. Thanks to a cooperation agreement, the residence will be managed for the next 25 years by the Azienda Regionale per il Diritto allo Studio Universitario di Venezia (ESU).

The Department of Management is accredited by EQUIS

The Department of Management at Ca' Foscari University of Venice has been awarded the prestigious international EQUIS accreditation, issued by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD).

University Closure on 20 and 21 November for the Festa della Salute

Ca' Foscari University venues in Venice and Mestre will be closed on Monday 20 November and Tuesday 21 November, 2023, for the Festa della Madonna della Salute.
