The new San Giobbe residential complex

Students are at the heart of Ca’ Foscari’s vision and of its project to promote living in Venice. The university has established a series of partnerships to enable the greatest possible number of students to live in Venice during their studies. Here are all the opportunities Ca’ Foscari has to offer, including some new options available from September 2021

September 2021: the new San Giobbe residential complex

The 2021/22 academic year will feature the opening of the new student residential complex in Venice. The complex, which is the completion of the largest university campus in Venice in the area of San Giobbe, will offer accommodation for 229 people as well as facilities and spaces open to the local community. Moreover, another student residence will open in Mestre in 2022, in the Scientific Campus in Via Torino.

Santa Marta student residence

The Santa Marta student residence was inaugurated in 2019 and offers accommodation for 650 people. Common facilities include the garden, the gym, two conference rooms, study rooms, the canteen, shared kitchens, the restaurant and bar service, the laundry service, the bike shelter and the reception service.

Find accommodation with the Housing Office

Are you looking for accommodation in the private sector? Why not contact the Housing Office? From this year, the housing service is managed by a house agency company, Immuni Srl, which works under the Sturent brand and has years of experience in property management for students and university personnel in various Italian cities.

How does it work? It’s pretty simple: check out the website and start looking! Everyone at Ca’ Foscari (students, teaching staff and personnel) can use this complete service that helps you identify the most suitable accommodation, organises property viewings, and provides assistance in the writing and registration of leases.

At the moment Sturent is offering over 500 rooms and about a hundred students have already used this service so far.

Study in Venice: an online portal for accommodation in the private sector

Thanks to the Study in Venice network, students and university personnel can use the Venice Apartment Students platform to look for accommodation in the private sector. You can see photos, the monthly rent, the availability and all the contract details that the property owner shares online. Through the platform, users can contact the property owner directly in order to ask for information or to organise a viewing.

All the information is available at the Housing and canteens page.
