The countdown to the opening of the brand new Santa Marta student residence has officially begun: the first 365 housing quarters will be ready by October 15, while the rest of them will become available from November 15, for a total of 650 beds.
This initiative will greatly expand residential opportunities for Ca’ Foscari students, who will soon have a brand new, fully equipped facility at their disposal.
Thanks to the Financial Aid Unit, 82 students will  benefit from a substantial discount on their rent: 327 € for a single and 228 € for a bed in a twin room.
Other 250 students will also be able to access the residence at a discounted price, thanks to the Social Housing Program: 426 € for a single and 327 € for a bed in a twin room.

The remaining 318 beds will be rented out at similar rates: 380 € for a bed in a twin room, 490 € for a single room and 530 € for a single superior.
To receive more information, schedule a visit and apply for the residence, the students can contact the managing company, Camplus, through their website  www.camplusapartments.it.

The complex consists of 3 buildings “Cubo” “Parallelepipedo” and “Edificio Sud” with a total surface of 20.000 m2, 15.000 for the interiors and 5.000 for outdoor spaces.

Aside from providing accommodation, the residence will also offer several features to improve the students’ community life: about a third of the total surface will be dedicated to common rooms, with various equipment both for study and leisure.
Furthermore, upon agreement with the City of Venice, the complex will also have a green area open to all citizens.

Common rooms and various services will be located on the ground floor of the buildings, while the other floors will be dedicated to the lodgings, all fully furnished, each equipped with a private bathroom and a kitchenette.

The rooms, which will be available to students from all Venetian universities, have free Wi-Fi, a 24h reception desk and the following amenities:

  •  “Cubo”: 286 beds, distributed into 67 twin rooms and 152 singles. This building will also house the reception desk, a front office, offices, study rooms, a conference room, a TV room, a gym, a laundry room and a recreation room.

  • “Parallelepipedo”: 136 beds, distributed into 59 twin rooms and 18 singles. This building will also hold administrative offices, a common room, a meeting room, a study room and a video room.

  • “Edificio Sud”: 228 beds, distributed into 112 twin rooms and 4 singles. The building will also house video rooms and conference rooms, as well as the cafeteria complex, with a breakfast area and vending machines.
