Don’t miss the last 'water event' of the year – on Sunday December 23rd, the traditional “Regata in Valesana dei Babbi Natale” (The Regatta of the Santas) will be back for its 9th edition. Amateurs and champions, women and men can compete and row the mascarete (a typical Venetian boat) in the Grand Canal.

The Regatta will start at 10.30 a.m. in Saint Mark’s basin and it will be followed by a traditional boat parade, with the rowers all dressed as Santas! The finishing line will be at Rialto – Erbaria, where the final celebrations will also take place, with the participation of Rector Michele Bugliesi, Councilman Giovanni Giusto and Maria Antonietta Baldo, Rector’s delegate for Sport Activities.
