Luca Bonatti graduated in Philosophy at the University of Milan and received his PhD in Philosophy of Mind at Rutgers, N.J.. He has been a member of the Laboratoire de Sciences Cognitives et Psycholinguistique, Paris, where he learned the little experimental psychology he knows thanks to the help of friends and colleagues. He held positions at the University of Paris 8, at SISSA (Trieste), at the University of Nantes, and at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona), as ICREA professor. He has also been visiting professor at the University of Budapest, at the University of the Balearic Islands, and at New York University. He is now professor of developmental psychology at Ca' Foscari.
His main interests turn around the very bizarre and puzzling phenomenon that we call thinking.
