The Specialist Master's Programme in Labour and Social Welfare Law aims to train experts in labour law with particular emphasis on legal competencies as well as on industrial relations, administration and personnel management issues. These professionals will have no difficulties in dealing with a continuously evolving scenario; they are capable of interpreting labour issues with a multidisciplinary comparative approach and ranging across national, EC and international law.
These training objectives have led to the establishment of an important partner agreement with the Master's Programme in social law at the UFR de Droit et de sciences politiques of the Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense with the aim of organising international workshops and joint research programmes.
Labour and social welfare law experts are capable of dealing with labour disputes, both judicially – in the case of lawyers – and extrajudicially; of planning HR development and management policies with the support of in-depth knowledge of legal problems connected with labour issues and of handling relations with workers organisations, trade associations, bodies and institutions operating in the labour market (such as Inps, Inail, Provincial and Regional Departments of Labour etc.).
