Students' opinions and employment
The Floor to Students
Nicola Torreggiani tells us why she chose the Bachelor's Degree in Language, Culture and Society of Asia and Mediterranean Africa.
Nicola was interviewed by Radiocafoscari, the university's web radio which is managed and held by Ca' Foscari's students.
Why did you choose this Bachelor’s Degree Programme?
Since I was a child I have always had a passion for the East, both for its culture and its art, and I have always been fascinated by learning new languages with a different grammar and train of thought. I have a passion for chinese and in general for all the oriental languages.
What do you enjoy about this Bachelor’s degree programme?
I like a lot how competent professors are, and we were helped by mother tongue lecturers and Italian professors.
I enjoyed studying art and literature which are very different from those of Europe.
How would you describe your experience at Ca’ Foscari?
I think that it is one of the best universities. I enjoy my experience very much: it is a very organized university, everybody is nice and available. The programmes are very well structured. Living in Venice is tough at first but it is like living in an open air museum. It is my third year and I have not tired of living here yet.
