Degree programme regulations
The degree programmes provide )in relation to specific objectives, experimental activities on campus and in laboratories) the possibility to carry out internal and external formative placements in public or private companies, structures, laboratories and firms, as well as time studying at other Italian or European universities that are also under international agreements.
1 credit is assigned for every 25 hours documented to the placement.
Two types of placements are possible:
- “Internal” placement –carried out in the laboratories at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. The educational school for the Environmental Sciences degree programme, on the basis of the placement application form presented by the student and formed of their specific module (internal placement application), can approve the internal placement project. Upon finishing the placement, students must present their placement attendance document and their certificate for finishing the internship to the secretary of their degree programme.
- “External” placement – to develop at an Institution, Research Laboratory or a firm external to the university (in which case it is necessary to pre-emptively come to an agreement with the University and the employer). The external placement is regulated and managed by the University Internship Office.
The internal internship application form, filled in, signed and completed with the documentation attached, should be scanned and emailed to email@example.com.
