Discovering the Internship Projects. Part 3

During the second semester of the third year, students of the Bachelor's Degree in Digital Management are involved in an Internship Project in companies that are part of the international network of H-FARM and Ca' Foscari University. In the coming weeks, we will share stories of some of the students who are currently undertaking their internship. Today we will read about Claudia Schiff and Nicolò Rosato's experiences, who are respectively working in Alfa Sistemi and FEM-Future Education Modena.

Claudia said: “From the very first interview, Alfa Sistemi set itself apart because of its organizational culture, its attention towards employees and the environment, the high percentage of women and the common goals of growth and cooperation. Together with other four new employees, I’m being taught the functioning of JD Edwards, the ERP system Alfa Sistemi’s customers employ. Entering a new environment is never easy, however my colleagues have made me feel part of the team from the first day. My plan for the future is to learn as much as possible in my 5 months here, and then pursue a career as an Oracle ERP finance consultant.”

Nicolò told us about his experience at FEM: “I was looking for an internship in a young company with agile processes, where I could have the freedom to act at my own initiative. I started collaborating with FEM before finishing my university studies, and now I’m working on two main projects: the design of the external and internal communication strategy and the development of a digital platform to manage the relationship with users — that will be the topic of my final thesis. “Being in a blender” is how I’d describe a day here: we have many things to do in a very short period of time. The work is demanding, but it allows me to experiment what I studied and gain new skills — and improve the way I manage my time.”
